Aluminum and Glass Rectangular Cocktail Table by Paul Mayen for Habitat, 1970s

This rectangular cocktail table was designed and created by Paul Mayen for Habitat in the 1970s. It is fabricated out of cast-aluminum and has a clear glass top.

Paul Mayen was a founder of Habitat, Intrex, and Architectural Supplements, Inc. He is known for clever, minimalist designs in aluminum, chrome, glass and wood. Two of Mayen’s designs are in the permanent collection of the Industrial Design department at the Museum of Modern Art.

Iconic Double X-Base Chrome and Glass Cocktail Table: Leon Rosen for Pace

This iconic Double X-Base glass-topped cocktail table was designed by Leon Rosen for the Pace Furniture Collection in the 1970's. The base of intersecting x-forms is of chromed steel.

Leon Rosen designed many iconic pieces for the Pace Furniture Collections of New York. Pace Collections were a high-end custom manufacturer based in New York, operating from the early 1970's until around 2001.

Hollywood-Regency Brushed Steel, Brass & Marble Cocktail Table by Trouvailles

This handsome cocktail table was made by the iconic Trouvailles Furniture Company that was established in 1960. This piece is very much in keeping with pieces designed by Maison Jansen with its high-quality brass winged dragon castings, inlaid marble top and brushed solid-steel base. The marble top is in a jet-black color with insets of a stylized Greek-key in cream, violet and raspberry marbles.

Large Square Brutalist Paul Evans Style Cocktail Table, Nails and Glass

This cocktail table is very much in the style of "Brutalist" pieces created by the iconic furniture designer Paul Evans. The base is composed of masonry nails in a satin-color and finish.
